Intro to Igorrr:

Gautier Serre , stage name Igorrr , is a French musician born on June 5, 1984, a composer mixing many musical currents, including black or death metal, baroque music, breakcore, and trip hop. In addition to the projects under the name of Igorrr, Gautier Serre is also part of the Corpo-Mente and Whourkr groups .

Gautier Serre is originally from Strasbourg, France. In his youth, he listened to Domenico Scarlatti, Cannibal Corpse, Chopin, Meshuggah, Jean-Sébastien Bach, Aphex Twin and Jean-Philippe Rameau, who noted the originality and "folly" of his artists. He joined in the early 2000s various bands of death metal and black metal.

Launch of Igorrr:

Gautier did not appreciate what radio, majors and television offered at the time, but wanted to embark on a music that he described as "a form of total musical freedom". The musician declared in an interview of 2011 that he had been waiting for a music that brought together all the good in the music, disappointed with what he heard, he began to create his own music. In 2005, he gave concerts in experimental Breakcore evenings. The fact of not belonging to a specific and identifiable style makes the music less easy to approach, and concert organizers are reluctant . Two album demos are released in self-production, Poisson soluble in 2006 and Moisissure in 2008 . The artist is surrounded by Laurent Lunoir, Laure Le Prunenec and Sylvain Bouvier to reproduce all these live music on the many concerts that will follow.
